Portland Dental Community is a website catered to the dental industry. As a systems administrator this company is providing their dental offices with a wealth of resources. This animated skyline is brilliantly displayed with an automated real time weather feed which empowers you to see actual weather forecasting throughout the day and evening. The skyline is interactive allowing you to drag the time bar forward or backwards to track the sun and moon across the skyline.

Portland Dental Community stated they wanted to create a homepage, no different than an MSN, aol, or yahoo. They wanted their customers to have the ability to use the website as a resource center. Moreover, they wanted an animated skyline capturing the livelihood of Portland. This was a project virso embraced and set out to deliver.

At virso we not only captured their vision of design, but we exceeded expectations with the development and customization of components. The site offers customized links, traffic updates, news, weather forecasting, job board, instant messaging, member registration and profiles, remote desktops, remote backups and many more attributes. These customized components integrated well within the Content Management System which has been simple for Portland Dental Community to manage.

The Portland Dental Community website is a must visit and be sure to look out for the vehicles crossing the bridges, the bridges rising while the paddle wheel boat passes underneath, the cranes moving, bicyclists riding by, pleasure boats motoring by, ducks swimming, lights turning on, rain, wind, clouds, snow, and a variety of other animated objects within the skyline.
